The Red Arrow fire rated downlight is designed to accommodate the GU10 bulb fitment which is held in place using a twist and lock system that makes replacement extremely simple. This is the ‘fixed’ model which cannot be tilted.

An integrated intumescent material completely seals the downlight and any associated bores/cut outs to ensure that your ceiling’s ability contain a fire is not compromised with its installation. The unit has been tested in 30, 60 and 90 minute fire rated ceilings.

This downlight includes a GU10 connection cable and is also fitted with an integrated terminal block connector in order to connect the 240v supply quickly and safely.

Approved to BS476 parts 21 – 23, suitable for 90 minute fire rated ceilings.

Note that the fitting’s cut out diameter is 75mm and the visible, front facing fascia is 92mm.

When fitting a bulb, please consider that the recommended maximum wattage is 35W for flammable surfaces and 50W for those that are non-flammable. Fitting anything above these tolerances poses a serious risk of fire.
